You can certainly work out the theme

Santastic is a superb title, and given the Santa part of the name, it is clearly going to be a Christmas slot game. This is confirmed by the presence of the man himself, along with a reindeer with a glowing nose, elves carrying gifts, and snow… lots of snow.

Does it have a festive design?

It does. The background offers snow-covered houses along with trees, mailboxes overflowing with gifts and cards, and lots more. There are plenty of festive symbols landing on the reels as well.

How to play the Santastic online slot

Look for three reels to appear as the game loads. Yes, this isn't a giant slot, although it does offer far more than you might guess. For starters, we have a 3 x 3 format. We also have a progressive jackpot, tucked away in the top right corner underneath a red and green Christmas cracker to show it off.

The game offers two wild symbols as well. The first shows two stockings hanging from a fireplace, with DOUBLE written above it. This turns up on the second reel and has a 2x multiplier. The second wild has three stockings and the word TRIPLE above it and has a 3x multiplier when it appears on the third reel. If you get both in the same prize-winning line, you'll receive a 6x multiplier. That's because they work together. There is also a jackpot symbol, and this is the only icon the wilds won't replace.

How many paylines does the Santastic slot game have?

You're not going to have too many in a three-reel slot, but the game does have five of them. You can play fewer lines if you wish, but then you risk missing a prize or two that could land elsewhere.

This isn't a penny slot game. instead, the smallest coin is 10 cents, so with five lines in action, you'd play with 50 cents a go. There are larger coins reaching a dollar each at most.

Look out for a bonus Festive Feast

You may notice there are Bonus Meters either side of the reels. To access these, you need any three of a kind prize landing on the reels. If you get more than one in the same triggering spin, you'll receive one feature for each of those.

You'll receive a prize from one of the two meters, rather than one from each. While it is possible that you could walk away from the round without a bonus, you could snag a coin prize, some jackpot spins, or some free games.

When we played the game, we had several times where we didn't get a bonus from the round. However, it did seem to trigger quite often, so it's reasonable to say you wouldn't always get something out of the bonus feature.
